Reader Q&A

Welcome!
One of my favorite parts of being an author is getting to connect with the wonderful people who read my stories. Whether you have a question about the inspiration behind a character, a curiosity about the writing journey, or just want to say hello, I would love to hear from you.
Please note: While I can’t always respond to every submission individually, I regularly check these entries and update this page with the questions I receive most often!
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Where do you find the inspiration for your stories?
- A: My stories are deeply rooted in the heart of the South. I’m constantly inspired by real-life moments, the warmth of community, and the quiet ways faith and family shape our lives. Many of my characters carry a little piece of someone I’ve known or a lesson I’ve learned along the way.
Q: In what order should I read your books?
- A: Most of my novels are written as standalones, meaning you can jump into whichever story catches your eye first! However, if a book belongs to a specific timeline or series, I’ll always make sure to list that clearly on the books page so you can follow along easily.
Q: I love to borrow books from the library or buy them secondhand. Is that okay?
- A: More than okay—it is absolutely wonderful! Paperbacks, library loans, secondhand shops, or borrowing a well-loved copy from a friend; what truly counts to me as an author is simply that the story is being read, shared, and enjoyed.
